I am weary of Donald J. Trump and his lack of understanding of this complex and volatile world.
I am fearful of his Machiavellian politics: worried about his belief in a rigid and pervasive distinction between “us” and “them.”
I am weary about someone who glorifies and idealizes himself (and a nation) as superior to all others. History is filled with failed authoritarians who believed other nations were inferior, envious, and ominous.
I am apprehensive about Trump’s compulsion to extremism, his unpredictability, and his demand for absolute and simple solutions to complicated problems and dilemmas.
I am troubled by his autocratic, stereotypical, punitive, expedient, and exaggerated notions.
